Welcome to Pages Without Armor

Life does not warn us what is coming next. Some days, I can accept that. Other days, my mind races from minute to minute, trying to prepare for problems that have not even happened.

Lately, one problem seems to arrive before I recover from the last. I started this blog because I needed somewhere honest to place those thoughts. Writing gives my anxiety somewhere to go, but Pages Without Armor will be about more than anxiety. It will be about life as I am actually living it.

This is my public journal—a place for daily experiences, hard lessons, quiet victories, faith, family, college, and whatever else the day brings. I am a husband, a father, and a student preparing to graduate next spring before continuing into a master’s program. I do not have every answer, and I will not pretend that I do.

The writing here will be raw and vulnerable, but also thoughtful and respectful. I will protect what should remain private without polishing away the truth. Scripture will have a natural place here because faith is part of who I am and how I keep moving forward.

“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

—2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

My hope is that you will recognize something of your own life in these pages and realize you are not alone. Maybe these words will help me make sense of today; maybe one day they will become a book. For now, I am choosing to keep writing and show up honestly.

This is Pages Without Armor—not a life without strength, but a life without pretending.
