My name is Benjamin Gray. I am a husband, a father, and a college student preparing to graduate and then continue into a master’s program. I am also someone whose mind sometimes tries to solve tomorrow before today is finished.

I began Pages Without Armor during a season when one problem seemed to arrive before I had recovered from the last. Writing does not remove the uncertainty or make my responsibilities disappear. It gives me somewhere honest to place what I am carrying—long enough to examine it rather than simply react to it.

Here, I will write about faith, family, anxiety, education, ordinary days, difficult questions, and the quiet victories that can become buried beneath everything demanding attention. I am not writing as an expert, and I am not interested in presenting a polished version of a life that is still being lived. I will protect what belongs to other people while telling the truth about what belongs to me. Faith will appear here not as decoration or a forced conclusion, but because it shapes how I understand struggle, hope, and the decision to keep moving forward.

My hope is that someone will read these words and recognize part of their own life in them. If that happens, neither of us has to feel quite as alone in what we carry. Perhaps these pages will become a book someday. For now, Pages Without Armor is where I practice paying attention, putting experience into words, and meeting life without pretending it leaves no mark.
